After replacing a damaged camera in March 2002 with a Minolta Dimage 7 ( see reveiw under Dimage 7) wanted storage equivilent to a couple of rolls of film (24 + 24).I did not fancy carrying around a wallet with loads of 128Mb Compact Flash cards, so, Having invested in the Fuji IBM Microdrive I get 72 photo's at 5.0 Megapixels. I get Fantastic quality photo's and the equivilent capacity of 2 rolls of film holding 36 exposures. Best advice is spend a little more than you can really aford because the results you will find are worth every penny. The Micro drive stores an unbelievable amoumt, on such a compact item. It is worth more than 5 stars but thats the tops.
