Perfect Wireless Pad! September 19, 2008 J. Morris Not really sure what the other reviews issue with the pad cutting out is. Maybe he was unlucky and got a dud? This pad has never let me down, even when the light went red as the batteries started to die out. I did try putting the reciever in the back of my desktop and the connection was poor, so maybe that was his issue? I've had this pad for 6 months and I play Street Fighter, Mugen, rFactor, Grand Prix 4, Fifa, and Pro Evo with this. They all require good response and this pad delivers; I've never noticed any delay, unlike some poor wireless keyboards/mice I've had. All in all I think this might be the best wireless pad on the market. My friends all recommend the Logitech model, which is very similar to a PS2 pad. However, if you're into emulators and fighting games you really need the 6 buttons on the front of the pad and this seems to be the only decent pad like that. I've owned the Siatek P880, which was a very good wired pad. This is better for playing PS2/Xbox ports thanks to the extra shoulder buttons. The design of both pads is awesome and I am annoyed Saitek decided to change their design for the Cyborg range. I'll be picking another one of these babys soon!
After a few month of usage June 10, 2008 Samuel (London, England) I bought this gamepad instead of a joystick and I have to say it was a good decision. I mainly use it for flight simulators, but it is very good with racing games too. I tried the FPS games, but it does not come close to the mouse+KB combo. I keep trying using it, the absence of a cable and the freedoom to move and sit in the house where you want is a big feature. So far I had no problem with the connection, I tested it from several metres and it worked fine. I've been using Saitek stuff for years and this one is also a good piece of technology. If you want to use it for racing games go on, it will work. In the first few hours you may struggle to get use to the sticks, but eventually it will be fun. It is also a viable substitution for flight sim's controlls, especially when you are on the move with your laptop.

Dont buy this if you are anything other than mildly casual about gaming. The pad cuts out alot or freezes in one direction and even sends the signal for button presses when you havnt asked it to. Even with a fresh battery it is prone to cutting out. The pad itself is fine, so get the cabled version.
