Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Save your money - buy an IPOD   August 9, 2003

Rather than paying over the odds for a memory stick - why not divert the hard earned cash you would have paid and purchase a fantastic IPOD. You get to buy a 10 gigabyte IPOD for only an additional 200. 5 times the price but 150 times the storage capacity

1 out of 5 stars Expensive con   June 10, 2002

I find it disgraceful that after buying the delightful Clie PEG NR70V, I am forced to buy, at outrageous cost, a MagicGate memory stick in order to listen to music I've already paid for, or written myself. These sticks might look cute, but they're twice as expensive as the standard memory sticks. I don't want to copy protect my own compositions and I don't see why I should have to pay a 100% premium to do so.

4 out of 5 stars Pricey but sleek   May 26, 2002

At double the price of the Memory Stick for the same amount of memory, it's not cheap but the Magic Gate memory stick is the ONLY memory stick which will allow you to put MP3's onto your PDA / Handheld. I found this out the hard way by buying a 50 Memory Stick to find that I needed a Magic Gate Memory Stick - so beware, if you want to download music - you need to pay the extra - Sony know how to work this don't they...

I own about 4 of them but and the quality is superb, but i just cannot see myself go an buy another one unless the prices are coming down.
