Extremely Dissapointed March 14, 2008 Very Dissapointed (Enfield, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The quality of photos was very poor from the beginning and after using all the settings, and following all the instructions, my daughter sent this to the repair centre together with a covering letter. When the camera was returned in January, The quality issues had not been rectified and so it was sent back again. The lack of communication and information from the repair centre was extremely poor regards an explanation as to the work carried out. In fact it took both my daughter and my wife to call to find out that different lenses had been replaced. When the camera came back the quality of the photos was still poor. To demonstrate this when I sent the camera back again I also sent a memory stick with two photos taken of my wife at the same time and place using the T20 and my wife's camera which incidentally is a Sony W55 to show the comparison. The camera was returned to us once again with no explanation as to what had been done although the engineer did send photocopied pages from the user manual. I got in touch with the Sony Customer care centre who asked to look at the camera. I sent this to them and after another two weeks have just returned the camera saying that they find it's performance is 'fine'. I bought this camera for my Daughter's 21st Birthday. It will now go into a drawer never to be used ...
Bang on! December 15, 2007 T. Tran (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've only had my T20 for a little while, but compared to many of the other camera's I'd owned down the line, this easily beats most of them "hand's down!" The picutre quality is very good, with a fairly good sized screen. The vibrancy in the colour also wins it. The choices in facility is also good. Its also small and will fit into the smallest of pockets. A great all-rounder, and I can easily recommend this camera to anyone.
TOTALY DISAPPOINTED October 7, 2007 Dr. S. F. Salim (london-uk) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I HAD PREVIOUSLY KONICA-MINOLTA DIMAGE-50 BUT LOST IT FEW MONTHS AGO, THAT CAMERA WAS 3 YEARS OLD AND ONLY 5MP BUT HAS MUCH BETTER QUALITY AND SPESCIFICATION THAN THIS CAMERA.I BOUGHT SONY T20 RECENTLY. I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE SUCH A POOR QUALITY FROM SONY. I WILL DEFINITLY NOT RECOMMENDED IT TO ANY ONE AND I HOPE THAT THE NEW ARRIVAL FROM SONY THE T200 WHICH I HOPE TO BUY SOON WILL BE BETTER QUALITY THAN THIS ONE.
Brilliant! June 12, 2007 E. Salahi (London, England) 43 out of 48 found this review helpful
Ok, so im sure someone reading this is in the same position i was in a couple days ago, trying to figure out what digital camera to buy and are completly confused and lost but how many there actually are out there?! Well, be confused no more!! The Cybershot DSC-T20 is quite simply amazing. It has everything, its compact and super cute. I didnt know much about digital cameras (probably why i was finding it so hard to decide). I went for this one because i trust Sony and had read some good reviews...i was NOT disapointed! It has everything i wanted, me needs were simple...im not gonna be doing any artistic photography with it, just me, my family and friends, playing, holidaying and havig fun on nights out - i needed something small, so when i go out i can pop it away - the size of this camera is unreal! So yes...all in all - its great for anyone who is thinking of having a camera for all those pricless moments!
