Rip Off HP, Only 8mls Of Ink In A Original 28 Colour Cartridge. April 25, 2008 Garry Williams (London (Enfield)) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have seen the review by another Amazon user. The 8ml content of genuine HP 28 colour cartridges is abismal but i have found excellent British premium compatible cartridges from a company called advantage-online.co.uk These cartridges contain more than three times the amount of ink (24mls)and are cheaper than the HP version. Most important they work very well and there is no difference in quality of printing from the original. I ordered one black 27 and one colour 28 and received them next day with free first class postage.
Excellent ink! January 8, 2006 B. A. Parkin (United Kingdom) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ignore your printer when it states low ink. very premature reminder to replace. Have printed numerous sheets before ink finally runs out. Much better than the cheaper refills.
good enough October 30, 2005 biro 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
gold is cheaper but doesn't work in my printer so bit the bullet and lashed out 15 quid for a dribble of ink. works ok, just overpriced as they all are.
Get it. May 26, 2005 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got a nice HP Deskjet 3845 printer and put in this cartridge. One month later, at moderate usage, it's still half full. That's good stuff seen as though it's a cheap little ink cartridge. I haven't needed to use my second cartridge yet, but it's good. The black HP 27 one is equally good. Get an HP printer. Get an HP cartridge.
Running Costs March 1, 2005 john shield (South Coast England) 11 out of 14 found this review helpful
As a professional refiller of inkjet cartridges, this HP features some of the smallest cartridges on the market, and I would strongly advise considering other makes particularly Canons where the ink cartridges are much larger and thus your running costs are less. The printer manufacturers are in this game both for the hardware but also for the ink supply.....guess where they are making a killing??? Think about the ink before you buy the printer, and talk to the cartridge refillers on every high street for the advise on what printer to buy for what reason.
