2 months later..... June 12, 2008 Mr. D. H. Beaumont (England) I was looking for a sensibly priced curved keyboard and I found it. I was a little worried about some reviews saying keys were dodgy, but, after 2 months I can honestly say I have had no problems and no regrets since buying it. The keys are nice and quiet too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that even with the foldy legs down, the keyboard stays pretty flat. But, that is probably good for my wrists anyway!
Review for Mac Users May 28, 2008 Mr. C. J. Thorpe (Liverpool, England) As much as I dislike Microsoft, I have to say they make fairly decent keyboards and mice. This keyboard is decent enough. A little sluggish on the typing and it can be hard to get the sensitive of the mouse right. However it functions well. If you wish to get the application keys such as music play, open browser, mail etc to work you need to actually download the software from the microsoft website. None came with the keyboard. It was relatively easy to find however and made it far easier to customise the keyboard and mouse for your use. The curve of the keys when you are used to straight keys takes some getting used too, I am making more typo's than normal and having to concentrate on typing a little more than usual, but I am sure it is something I will adjust too. Overall for the price which is remarkably low a very good keyboard, I would prefer a new Apple keyboard but this is a good alternative for if I do not wish to pay out too much.
Like sprinting in hiking boots April 20, 2008 C. Rooney I am a very fast typer, and have found this keyboard to trip me up on virtually every other word. After 3 months of using it, I still find myself having to constantly go back and correct typos caused by the stupid kink in the middle of it and the massive difference in the size of some keys (n is twice as big as m). I have felt like throwing it through the wall on several occasions. If you learn to type on this keyboard, you will probably hve trouble with just about every other keyboard you come across. I have never had any trouble with a keyboard in the past, and I have never written a review before, but this causes my blood to boil. Needless to say, it is getting replaced. I am not even going to sell it, I am going to enjoy hammering it to bits. In short: DON'T BUY.
Lovelly curvy keyboard March 11, 2008 Jon Morgan (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Replaced a standard Dell keyboard with this one and what a difference. Where the Dell one had no life in it at all and was very hard plastic, the Microsoft one is softer and you can hardly hear the keys. Once you have got used to the slight curve in the keyboard, you will not regret getting this one.
Great.....once you get used to it! January 31, 2008 M. Hall (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
For the first 20 minutes I was using this keyboard, the number of typing errors was huge! Then as I started to adapt to the placing of the keys and the general shape of the product, It became easier to spell words correctly, and the keyboard felt more comfortable to use. The unit itself, is quite large, bigger than what I was expecting. The space bar is a bit bulky, but it isn't massive. The keys are well spaced out, and cleverely spaced, so it is easier to touch type. The comfort of this product is due to the experts at Microsoft that have developed a curve in the bottom of the keyboard, and I must admit it does make a huge difference, typing suddenly just seems more enjoyable and my fingers seem to move around the board naturally. I am using this keyboard with my Vista laptop, because I couldn't stand the laptop keys! I am using MS Vista, and it works perfectly, my system found the keyboard very quickly, and went about installing the required drivers. Highly recommend this product!
