Conflict for the USB portAugust 28, 2008 squawk(Northern Hemisphere) Maybe this is not fair giving the adapter 2 stars because I dont know for absolute sure whether its THIS specific adapter or kbd/mouse adapters in general. This adapter works but I find that, because I type pretty quickly, the computer no longer keeps up. Worse still, it frequently registers key-downs and misses the key-ups so the computer acts like, say, the Ctrl key is constantly pressed. This means you have to press it again to release it. I put this down to the mouse and kbd messages flowing in through the same USB port but I can't be certain. I suspect separate connectors on separate USB ports may be better.

This simple device works well and saved my embarassment when I bought a cheap keyboard with the wrong connector. Now my reputation is restored!
