Have had no problems with this item before but today printer Lexmark 5200 Series all-in-one refused to install it even though it was brand new saying it was unsupported,invalid and incorrect and I have checked all through the computer to see if it might be my fault including uninstalling and reinstalling the printer. Although I bought it some time ago on Amazon I have contacted the seller in case they know why. I am on benefits at present and cannot afford to be buying something which does not do the job it is supposed to do. So it has gone down totally in my estimation.

I am an art student so go through a lot of ink. I have ordered quite a few colour ink cartridge 33's from a few different places and i have found that this is probably one of the best places to order off. Quick delivery, not a bad price and the ink lasts a fair while.

Since purchasing our first PC in 1997 we have used printers from all the major consumable brands (HP, Epson, Lexmark) excluding Canon. Both previous models were plagued with ink-related problems. We are not a heavy ink consuming family but I would say Lexmark cartriges provide best reliability and longevity. No problems with cartridge recognition or colour reproduction over past 2 years. Amazon price is acceptable c/w typical store prices.

I know that it seems like the ink cartridges runs out quite quickly on the on screen display when printing. I used to replace them when the warning came up but this time I just kept on printing saying to myself I'll order when it doesn't print anymore. A few months on and I am still printing, the box has said empty for a long time now but my documents are still perfect, but you can't get photos very well, I use no 31 & 33, hope this helps.

Being a 'silver' surfer, I find these cartridges very expensive, although generally with new cartridges the printing is excellent. Sent to Amazon for cut price genuine cartridges as my colour was running low. Got sent two refills by Helpdesk. Postage 9. The printer, Lexmark X5470 just stopped, with a message coming onto my screen that the cartridge was out of date. Had further expense of purchasing a new cartridge locally before the machine would work. Now what do I do?
Will Helpdesk refund my money? Although I'm only in Cornwall, not the Outer Hebrides, the postage on 'not fit for purpose' goods is extortionate. Caveat emptor!!!
