I adore my pink Walkman. I've had it for over a year now and only a few scratches, considering the amount of times I've dropped it and the bumps it's had in my handbag, it's kept it's condition well. The screen issue is nothing - simply cover it from the sun if you're that bothered. I've never had a problem seeing the display, on the contrary, it's a wonderful design because it looks like there IS no display until it pops up when you press a button. Only fault I have with this player is it's very easy to turn on, so if it's being kept in a pocket for instance, it has a habit of turning itself on. Otherwise a great invention - the coolest, cutest accessory any girl needs.

After deciding on a sony mp3 compared to an i-pod, i have been pleased with the sound quality and design. Also, i had read poor reviews about the software in comparison to i-tunes, but i have had no problems and find sonicstage easy to use. The design is sleek and stylish. Another bonus is that it comes with wall charger, compared to some i-pods which only come with the computer charger.
one complaint though, i feel the volume doesnt go to a high enough level so that if two people are listening to it, or you are in a nosiy room the music is a little too quiet. but, in most situations it is adequate.
overall, i am pleased i picked a sony mp3 as i am veyr impressed with the quality.

The sound quality is good but if you want to be able to read the 7 line display do not buy this. As soon as you take it outside the reflective surface makes it impossible to read. Not something i would recommend.
