Product Description At just 6mm thick, the iPod Nano is slimmer and more discreet than its predecessor. It weighs just 40 g, making it ideal for music lovers who want to listen to music without the hassle of a bulky music player. The iPod nano not only holds up to 2,000 songs with colour album sleeves in its internal memory, it also allows you to view your photos on its bright 1.5" LCD screen, which is 40% brighter than the previous model. In addition, Apple has designed it so that it reads Podcasts and audio books, downloadable from the iTunes Store! With the iPod nano, your passion for music is no longer limited as it has a battery life of up to 24 hours. It?s unlikely that it will run out of energy before you do!The iPod nano is revolutionising the world of digital music, much to the delight all the music fans among us!

THE ONLY CHOICE May 1, 2008 LARGE AND IN CHARGE (NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ve had my nano for 18 months now and never used it with earphones. In my cars its wired in directly to the head units (which gives full control and avoids those crap fm transmitters) and at home I use docking stations. I also use an Altec IM7 for portable use. This brilliant device has rendered CD's and multichangers obsolete. I ve not come close to filling half the memory so started ripping at higher bit rates as suggested by the audiophilles but I really have nt noticed an improvement in audio quality. No quality or reliability issues which is a shame cos i cant justify buying the gen 4 model out this summer (16gb plus bluetooth is my guess!) Buy one now.
Brilliantly unreliable March 25, 2008 Nicholas Brooker Great technology etc but definitely the most unreliable thing I've ever owned. Check out the Apple website and the pages of support/user forums dealing with iPod problems and make your own mind up. If you need a hobby or something to while away the hours, then this is the kit for you.

I have had no problems at all with it! it has loads of memory, is easy to use, looks great and has amazing sound quality. I have alot of friends with 4 gb iopds and they have ahd no prob lems either. I have read other reviews saying not to buy one but i strongly suggest you do. Mine was 130 off amazon when i first bought it but now it is even cheaper!! hope my review helped !!!!!!!!

Arrived Sat am 27/10/07. Charged up and loaded 700 tracks no problem but it refused to work when disconnected from a power supply. !! Screen dies and keys freeze . Returning it immediately for a full refund . Clearly not a one off product defect . Model A 1199, Serial No YM 709R00VQT.
