Ipod Nano is NOT so good June 15, 2008 Ann 11 out of 21 found this review helpful
The ipod nano 3rd generation is a real disappointment. I think most of the reviews written so far have been from people who have only had their ipod for a few days. If you haven't encountered any problems yet I'm sure you will soon because all together I've had 3 ipod nanos and they have all played up and I don't think its a coincedence. At first it works fine as I'm sure everyone will agree but it gets scratched easily, freezes whenever it feels like it and on my current ipod which I have only had for about 2 months the buttons have stopped working and the ipod won't respond. The earphones work fine but apparently break easily as 2 of my friends have told me therefore I think there are more reasons NOT to buy an ipod nano than to buy one. I don't like giving negative reviews but this is the honest truth about the ipods and please DON'T BUY ONE! It's a waste of money and time and I'm going to return mine as soon as I can.
2nd time lucky May 28, 2008 D. Brown (Edinburgh) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
First one delivered had a faulty screen that flickered with reverse colours and was returned to Amazon for a full refund. The second one fortunately works as intended. Hopefully will provide some stress-busting for my 16YO daughter as she takes some R&R between her exams! As others have said, this is an excellent piece of kit and superbly designed. Don't be put off by iTunes - within a short time you begin to realize it is far superior to Windows Media Player.
Nice pink March 8, 2008 Roger Reviewer (Lancashire, UK) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
A nice fashionable item with girls loving the pink, but comes with only a few instructions. Don't connect the iPod to your computer without first downloading the iTunes software, otherwise your PC might crash. Once you have the iTunes software it does everything for you, including any updates to the iPod software. You can upload the mp3 files you have already or rip direct from a CD. Best to buy a cover to keep it shiny and scratch free.
Fantastic March 4, 2008 The Bookman (No where) 15 out of 19 found this review helpful
Its a fantastic electric Pink Its a breeze to download itunes and then videos, podcasts and audio books Its a pleasure to use and very tactile Its a really small player and the screen is so sharp and cystal clear Its a whopping 8 gig and its going to take alot of songs to fill this up! Its a really cheap way to buy songs and albums Its not cheap to download audibooks Its not got a great deal of music video and tv programs choice wise Its not cheap to buy Its not going to stay polished and slick looking very long, you'll need a screen protector and cover Its not got a very good set of ear phones; your going to need another set of non apple headphones Its not got a lot of CD album artwork - you'll have to get them else where Its really great to use and barring a few minor niggles with itunes its a pleasure to own.

having just received this this morning from another website just thought i would put a little review down... well the only thing i wished for was more space on my pink 2nd gen nano and was sorely tempted by the new nanos when they came out at the end of last year but was sad they didn't do pink well what a surprise when i saw them now available in pink and snapped one up.......am really pleased it is not a vibrantly pink as the 2nd gen but still pretty smart...coverflow is good and the whole software is slicker and seems more advanced i have put 1 movie on it as a trial just get some shrinking software from the internet and it is amazing the picture etc fab and TINY!!and have just downloaded bomberman from itunes it's fab too all in all am pleased and have just ordered a case as am sure has the potential to scratch the back of it is so shiny and want to keep it that way.i would recommend
