Great Product - value for money. October 3, 2008

Got this product today (with a bit of a discount) must say it is a very good product for it's value concidering the others I tried did not sound as well.
Would recomend this to anyone as a small portable IPOD Doc. The only thing I would point out is that it will NOT charge an Ipod Nano 4G.

I decided to buy the Klipsch iGroove speaker system purely on the basis of the reviews posted on Amazon and will be returning it tomorrow. My main complaint is the sound quality. Vocals sound thin and music uninteresting.
Perhaps it's too much to ask for a 100 speaker dock to perform well, but I certainly would not recommend this to anyone used to listening to their iPod through good earphones (e.g., the Shure noise cancellation earphones that I use). Yes, you can fiddle with the EQ settings on your iPod which makes some improvement but I haven't needed to do this on some other more expensive docks or when using earphones.
My other complaint is the build quality. The power pack cables have to be jammed together to fit. It's a minor point, but not what I expected.
Overall, these systems are never going to replace high quality hifi, but I will be paying a little more to get a more interesting sound.

This is a lovely speaker dock for the ipod but doesn't work with the iPhone. It will not charge or play. You can play iPhone through these speakers only if you use the audio out cable but this will not charge the battery.

I just received my Klipsch iGroove SXT and i am delighted with it, the sound is great, has a very nice design. before buying this one i did a very good research, i was dreaming with the Bose one, but the price was a little expensive, so i decided for the Klipsch and was the best choice, great sound, it rocks!!!!

Ok everyone goes on about how great the Bose iPod dock is.... Well if your a badge junky go and buy your BMW or Audi and ignore the Ford.
Thats how I'd sum this item up. It does everything wonderfully welland wont let you down. If you ignore the badge on the front you'll be well impressed with Bose soundalike system !
Blindfold yer mates and take em for a ride. Tell em its a BMW and they'll be saying wow what a great ride! Take off the blindfold and they'll probably say something like. Well its okay but its not as refined!
Take a tip from me..... buy the Klipsh (pocket 220) and enjoy your music like never before. This is THE BEST ipod dock on the market for under a ton!.
It rivals docks which cost three times as much. A bit like the Ford Mondeo really! Its just the badge that puts people off !
