Fantastico..................................simple enough February 4, 2008 Ms. O. D. M. Kilmartin (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a really great product and now is the time to buy them because they're getting real cheap second hand. The sound quality is good for something so small and it is really easy to use with the click wheel and Itunes is good too. It's really beautiful to look at and it's so slim. But that was it's only flaw for me. It fell out of my pocket when doing shopping. So overall it's fantastic but quite easy to lose.
Nice machine... August 10, 2007 Idealism (Universe) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The REAL iPod Nano. Not this new tacky rubbish that's plastic. This is a lil gem of a machine that'll keep you upadated with all your music. Not like those colourful ones. They are for kids - this one is enough to last you you life, without embaressment about the colour! Store your Photos, Music, Podcasts,AudioBooks, play the cool lil games etc. I love my virually weightless iPod. The back is a cool little mirror. WARNING: If you install iTunes on one computer, then connect your iPod to another, you will lose all your data on the iPod - so you have to transfer the song files from computer to computer. PS: You MUST buy a nice cover for this iPod as the back can get scratched!
It's good but... June 28, 2007 Dan H (Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire) 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
Well, as I said in the title, this is a good product & it is the first MP3 player I have owned so I can't comment on how it compares with other MP3 players. It does have more space on it than I really need, but more is better than less in this case. The main problem I have with it, is that it scratches very easily & this could be somewhat off putting to a buyer when I'm done with it, as it looks like it's had a lot of abuse & admittedly, I didn't exactly choose this. I originally had a white Nano, but after a very minor accident the screen was broken (Most other things wouldn't have been damaged or damaged as badly as the nano) so I was actually planning to get a Zen, but then my bor brought me back a black Nano so I'm still using it & bieng a lot more careful with it. It is too fragile though for such an expensive product, I'm wondering how & when I'm gonna break this one. My bro bought a Zen quite recently & he says it's really good, so maybe I'll get one like I intended in a short while. All in all, I'd say it's worth it's price tag, but I'd get a Mark II version as opposed to this one, much better value for money, or buy a Zen.
Brilliant Until The Warranty Runs Out June 9, 2007 D. Tudor (Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
I purchased a 4gb ipod nano in may last year, I never had any problems with it and found it a great piece of kit. Admittedly the battery life is very poor and starts getting worse over time. After hearing so many people talk about how the ipod generally dies after the warranty runs out, mine has finally fell foul to this too.. About a month ago my ipod started crashing everytime it was synched in itunes, I then had to reformat my ipod and restore all the songs on it. After about a month or so of this happening it's just completely given up. To repair the ipod would cost just as much as it would to buy a new one, VERY ANNOYING! I would very much like to buy a new ipod but a product that lasts just over a year for how much you pay is ridiculous....
Don't even think about it. June 9, 2007 J. Hewitt (Scotland) 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
Got my first one a while back. Opened the box and thought, hmm nice! Worked for about a week then died. Got a replacement after a month and that died too (battery) By this time i was a bit angry so i said i wanted my money back. Got a Zen instead, mae boter with this little gem. It's lucky i never got the sh*tePod to work as at the time i wasn't aware you had to use iTunes to use it.
