Product Description The iPod touch is a revolutionary new iPod and quite possibly the best ever created! It has a touch interface and the same panoramic screen seen on the iPhone, not to mention a WiFi Internet connection. In effect, the iPod touch is equipped with a revolutionary multi-touch interface that puts all your music and video files right at your fingertips. The iPod touch also has WiFi connectivity so you can instantly access Google, Yahoo! Search and the millions of free videos available on YouTube. Unbelievably slim at just 8mm thick, the iPod touch is fixed with a superb 3.5 panoramic screen that is perfect for watching films or TV programmes and for displaying photos and album covers. The iPod touch is also equipped with an accelerometer that recognises the players orientation in space. When the iPod is in music mode, the Cover Flow function automatically displays album covers so you can flip through your music library quickly and easily. The iPod touch also has a built-in low-light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen according to the environment. The iPod touch offers up to 22 hours of music playback and up to 5 hours in video mode, as well as 5 new applications, which give users direct access to e-mails, maps, weather forecasts, notes and stock exhange information. The iPod touch is certainly revolutionising the world of digital music players!

Awesome iPod Touch July 23, 2008 K. Sehdev (Windsor, England) I bought the iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago and am in love with it. This is such an awesome piece of equipment. It is so easy to navigate around the menus. The music function is excellent, I especially like how you can scroll through the album art by turning the iPod landscape. The video playback is excellent. The app store is a really good feature as you can download apps to use, some are free. I got a sports app which shows live scores for the NBA, MLB, NFL, football, tennis... The internet function is really neat and I was able to connect to my WiFi network at home quickly and with no fuss. Accessing email is also a good function, altough you have to be near a wireless network to access them. The only negatives are the battery life and the fact that there is no flash player to view videos on the internet (apart from the youtube app alreasy on). It doesn't take long for the battery to drain even without watching video I have found. Overall this is an excellent product and worth purchasing if you don't want to get the iPhone. This is basically the same apart from the phone capabilities.

Nearly a five star July 16, 2008 J. Miles (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The applications on this product are fantastic. The touch screen is great and has obviously been created after 'real use' trials of the product . A protective cover is a must but make sure you buy one where the 'home' button is accessible. After even one day of use you will find the touch indispensable with its contacts, mail (via wifi), notes, weather, utube, calender, appointments and loads of free applications to download. If you like the ipod nano you will love this - it's a completely new generation and it is so straightforward to use. The only problem I had was moving my ipod nano stuff to the touch. I called the customer support and sadly found all 4 people I spoke to rather unhelpful and basically rude. The product more than makes up for it.
Can anyone help me please?! July 4, 2008 Ms. S. Austen (UK, england) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Hi when i go to the itunes icon it asks me to select a network, the only one that comes up is 'home' and this requires a password, well i've been doing some research and i think the password is you WEP i have no ides what this WEP is so if anyone can tell me how to access it that would be great, but you'll have to explain in step by step terms as i'm not a computer wizard. Thank You
Great for music but not so great for Internet June 7, 2008 CL (UK, Milton Keynes) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've had my iTouch for 2 weeks and absolutely love it - well, at least the music side... When it comes to e-mail and downloads (iTunes, maps and so on), I still can't access them. So this is very disappointing. I have a Livebox (Orange) and although my iTouch seems to identify the Livebox, it cannot connect to it. Tried several dozen websites for tips and troubleshooting, but in vain... In conclusion, great for music and pictures but 0 for connection to the Internet. Will update this, should I manage to sort the connection problem.
