As indicated by a previous reviewer the microblast speaker is only suitable for 1st generatio ipod nanos, not the new 2nd generation aluminium cased ipod nano. Amazon need to make this clear when marketing the product.
Product itself is well designed and of very good value.

As said before in the reviews ,brilliant nano speakers well built perfect for travelling complete with 240 adaptor and pouch to put the folding case in . You can put it loud enough for your own room listening without distortion.Just buy it Cant get a better value excellent product.

I cannot rave on about these speakers enough. Not only do they produce a great sound, they are completely portable - folding up into a nifty carrying case that also protects your ipod - and they charge your ipod whilst away from your computer (cheaper than buying a separate AC adaptor!) I can't believe they cost under a tenner (incl P&P), far superior than other models around - ten out of ten to XtremeMac

i got these the following day they got sent out to me. they are the best ipod nano speakers around for thows who have 1st gen and who have a black nano and for thows who have a white nano these stereo speakers also come with a white caseing so it can match ur white ipod nano. it also came with a covering protective bag 2 keep it nice in aswel as is good for storage. the quiltity is perfect. there loud not like really really load but still load. they come with an A\C adapter and charges your ipod nano whilst u listening to your music plus it takes 4 double A battieries incase u decide to go away on holiday n want to listenin to some tunes and plus there really worth it for like around a fiver. there really expensive everywhere else! so go on. buy these, u wont be disapointed!

I looked at these speakers before christmas as a speaker system for our bedroom, but decided to go for the Intempo Bowling Ball one instead.
Having now had a new kitchen fitted I thought I would get a speaker system for the kitchen so I can listen to music whilst making my culinary delights and decided that this one would fit in better. I was very surprised to see that the system was now 15 instead of the 32 that it was at christmas. I received the item on saturday and plugged the nano straight in to test it. The sound you get and the volume it rises to is very very surprising. Don't get me wrong, this is no B&O system and those wanting deep rich tones won't be happy, but for listening to music in the kitchen it is spot on.The old saying of you get what you pay for doesn't apply to this, it is so much better than you would have guessed for the price.
