PS3 HDMI to DVI cable is specially designed for use with HI-Definition HDTV Video signal inputs. You can use the cable to transmit video signal from your PS3 HDMI to your TV DVI. The outer skin of the cable is nylon shield net. This helps in prolonging the life span of the cable. It also shields the cable's rubber skin. In addition it reduces radiation interference from outside signals. The thick core cable helps in preventing attenuating signals. Gilded plugs prevents the cable from oxidation. Two magnetic rings that can be found near the plug serves as an anti-jamming mechanism during signal transmission.

Good for hdtvs that dont have hdmi ports plugged into my ps3 and then realised dvi doesn't let through sound so you have to buy a 2x RCA Phono Female to 1x 3.5mm Male Jack Audio Cable for sound. You can also buy the 2x RCA Phono Female to 1x 3.5mm Male Jack Audio Cable from amazon which i did and know i am able to hear and see the ps3 on my hdtv.
