 Excellent except European plug May 31, 2008

Pros:
I personally like matt finish screens as they don't disturb the image with reflections of everything behind you or indeed yourself.
You do get some glossy stuff though with the boarder and base rim, which is always good.
As for set up, there was none, I plugged it in and clicked the 'Auto' button and that was that.
Finally as for delivery it was pretty fast, and very well packaged!
Cons:
The only thing I don't like is it came with a European plug and a UK adapter, although it is a standard cable so would be easy to replace,
I would have prefered to have known in advance this was the situation.

I had to return this monitor as the screen was marked out of the box. I was glad however that it was marked as it gave me an excuse to return it. Although this is a wide gamut monitor, the colours are very difficult to calibrate and if you edit photos I wouldn't recommend this screen. The greens were extremely difficult to improve and skin tones were often unnatural. If you want a screen for gaming this may be a good option as the response times seemed reasonable.

unfortunately replaced by the the less than impressive 2232 (feels cheap/stand awful/too much plastic surround/otherwise same spec though)
not quite as straight forward to setup as it should be but then most monitors arent (worked in IT for over 20 years and the IT techies still havent leant the basics eg writing proper instructions - i ignored them and setup was easier!)
