5 out of 5 stars Smooth   September 25, 2008

I initially thought that the hype surrounding a laser mouse was just that - hype. But it's not until you use the mouse that you realise just how smooth and intuitive it is. I have awarded this product 5 stars based solely on it's performance as a basic mouse, you will not get better control. The other features it boasts are a bit clunky, the left / right scroll button clicks, and the thumb click option are not half as smooth as the mouse operation itsself.

5 out of 5 stars Works perfectly   September 1, 2008

This mouse does exactly what it says on the tin - and is superbly accurate too. I've always been a Microsoft hardware fan, but I've got to say that I think Logitech, after years of producing shoddy hardware, have finally caught up and passed Microsoft. I now have an MX Revolution and a MX400 - both are high-quality pieces of kit.

2 out of 5 stars poor scrolling   August 19, 2008

Mouse is fine generally, although not top build quality.
Unfortunately the scroll wheel tends to stick so smooth scrolling is impossible. Maybe a faulty one-off, don't know.
But sending back and going for a G5 instead.

5 out of 5 stars From a basic Microsoft   June 23, 2008
marybecs (England)
I have always used a basic Microsoft mouse, my last one being an optical which I was delighted with after the old ball-type. It is old and had gone a bit yellow looking and not working too great on my new gel mat/wrist rest combination. I do not do gaming but use my computer for hours each day so I read every review and in the end plumped for this. I plugged it in and away it went and I am amazed at how smooth it is, almost like floating after my basic. I am a female and it fits perfectly into my small hand and the horizonal movement of the wheel is a boon as I had no idea there were such things. The only thing I am having to get used to is that it moves quickly, a bit like getting used to a Lexus after a Morris Minor, different but a pleasure and I could never go back. Thank you everyone for your reviews which helped me greatly.

4 out of 5 stars Superb but not very rugged   June 19, 2008

This is probably the best mouse I've ever used but I now have to replace it because left click has died. It wasn't a fast death, things like double clicking on it's own for several weeks but it finally gave up the ghost. If I had had it for over a year I would have said fair enough but it's only eight months old. Saying that I am going to buy another one to replace the broken one on the off chance that mine was a Monday/Friday one. The features on the mouse are that good, or I'm an idiot! Time wil tell.
