Good but expensive April 30, 2008 Andrew P. Watson (Manchester, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've always used genuine Epson inks as I know other people who don't and invariably their printers stop working after a while. The only issue I have is that the inks seem to run out quite quickly, well after a lot less prints than the advertised expectancy. This may be because I don't print that much or that often so they dry up. This is what another reviewer suggests and I tend to agree.
Epson Cartrigides November 12, 2007 E. M. Sutton (Middx United Kingdom) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Whilst genuine Epson cartridges give superb technical results and are better than cloned cartridges they are extremely expensive! I had one printer trashed by clones. The Epson software won't let you print in Black & White/text if one colour cartridge is empty! It nags you when they are low. It has been noted elswhere that are not really empty when the chip inside says they are. If you don't use the printer a lot they do dry up in the printer.
Listed, but they don't even sell these. May 28, 2007 Mr. Andrew Wright (UK) 17 out of 24 found this review helpful
A week after making my order, I now find that the Amazon seller does not even sell this... and in the meantime I have run out of ink. And it's still advertised. Thanks for that.
Epson Multi packs - are there different types for R300? May 11, 2007 Software User (UK) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've always got my original ink for Epson R300 from Amazon, and been very happy with it. However, recently I needed it urgently so had to purchase from a local store instead. I discovered there were two types available (both multipack), but different front covers i.e 6 small sea horses instead of One Big one in yellow (as with amazon's). The more expensive one at 45 said it was fade resistant, no smudge and not water proof. Can someone please confirm if the Amazon one (T0481) is fade resistant. I can't find it on the technical spec. At the moment I can't spot the difference between the two and I do a lot of photo printing on Epson R300. Thanks.
