Well made with a solid feel to it this heavy item features a hard vinyl mousepad with a large gel filled wrist rest to ease RSI which can occur with extended use.
First of all this is well made & looks built to last. The gel area is just the right consistency to provide support for your wrist. It is also an attractive design that comes in bright attractive colours.
The reason for only 3 stars is that there are some problems. The mouse area is too hard & shiny & can cause problems with an optical mouse. The same area is also too small & can prove frustrating. Finally if you have a small wrist the gel pad may be a little too wide & can begin to cause discomfort.
Far from a disaster this is not perfect either & is probably worth your consideration if you can live with its faults.
