classy black laptop, simple yet effective design July 18, 2008

This arrived yesterday via the mail and I was immediately impressed by the slick black design. It is 'piano-key' gloss cover (which is prone to fingerprints hence the reason for the supplied cleaning cloth!).
The inside is black, with some keys and the start button highlighted in blue. This is simple yet effective.
I haven't used the touchpad as yet as I have a mouse plugged into the USB. Touchpad has two (left / right) command keys.
Laptop came supplied with Windows Vista (which is taking some getting used to). I also bought Windows Home & Student and Norton security (although a 60 days free Windows full package deal is supplied as is 30 day McAfee security).
So far I am pleased with my purchase. As I type the keys are very silent and the machine isn't much noise at all from the fans.
