| Customer Reviews:
This is a dual link cable October 15, 2008 R. Court I think I went for this on the basis that it came from Amazon themselves, so with supersaver delivery was competitive with other three metre cable offers. I have read people reviewing single link DVI cables saying always get double link. I was planning on using this with a switch, but when I wanted to try it on my monitor before the switch arrived, it wouldn't fit the connector on the monitor. There are pins on this, for which there aren't sockets on the monitor. So, if you need single link, double link may not work. Which is in no way the fault of this cable. It is, perhaps because it's dual link, a thicker cable than I'm used to, and feels heavy. With the switch, which does have the relevant sockets, output going through this looks fine on the monitor. I suspect this is a better quality cable than I expected, and will probably last for many years.
