Cannon MP510 April 5, 2008 Mr. D. Cordner (Corby,Northants) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent all round printer photocopying is relativly quick, Easy to use on screen display allows you to view pictures from the card reader or U.S.B port for use with your camera. Set up takes about 10-15 mins the only downside is that it doesn't come with a cable to link to your p.c/laptop. well recommended printer
No USB Cable January 28, 2008 Mr. M. Oconnor (London, UK) 3 out of 19 found this review helpful
A completely useless printer as it arrived without a USB cable. It has a nice finish, but is a bit bulky - however, I wasn't looking for an ornament.
Printer is great - but not recommended for Vista November 24, 2007 N. T. Myatt (Milton Keynes, U.K) 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
Having just spent over 4 hrs pursuading this printer's software to install on Vista (Home premium), I'm less than impressed! However, after eventually trying ever trick I know of I finally got it to work. It is a good printer, and copier (haven't tried the scan yet) - well built, good print quality, and easy to use. Note. Some of the supplied software does not work on Vista (check out the canon support site) and canon support, whilst very polite, is of poor quality - inaccurate responses and of little help - use google instead. Having had many canon products, I can quite imagine that this printer will install and work well on XP. But, unless you are technically confident and patient I wouldn't bother with this printer if your machine runs Vista.
LOOSE CANON November 13, 2007 Colin Gordon (EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND) 8 out of 28 found this review helpful
I have no idea whether this item works well, or not: I am unable to install the ink tank. This is due to the fact that the instructions are unclear, and I am disabled and partially-sighted. Canon were no help at all. After referring me to a firm (Cura) they said would be able to call out and assist me, Cura informed me that they were no longer Canon agents. They, in turn, referred me to a firm called Electroversal. Electroversal don't do housecalls. My advice is: if you're thinking of buying Canon, DONT!
