I bought this machine for it's scan/fax/copy functions. I make very few copies and the other jobs don't need ink. Without doing any printing the software has reported the emptying of ink cartridges. Now when I want to make a copy it won't let me even though I want mono and I know there is black ink.
I guess there is timing software on the cartridges. Avoid this product if you don't do much printing.
