I purchased this keyboard because every time I used the keyboard on the laptop, my wrist would accidentally press some obscure button and the computer would do something odd causing me to lose what I was working on; an extra keyboard for use at home seemed to be the most sensible option.
This keyboard installs straight from the box via USB using the Microsoft installed drivers on the computer. It does everything that a keyboard should do and I have had no problems with it over the last two months of use. At the start, the keys were a little stiff but this eased over time and they are now easy to press.
I am happy to recommend this keyboard for use with any computer, whether PC or laptop; I have used it on both and it works perfectly well on either. I purchased it with a Trust Optical USB Mouse (MI-2250), which is also an excellent buy for the price.
