Great Keyboard!! June 3, 2008 Avgoustinos Kadis (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very nice feel of the buttons, nice sound, works perfectly with my Ubuntu (sound volume +/-, mute, play, forward, back etc..). Great Keyboard! The only I didn't like is that it's a bit long and can't fit so well in my backpack.
Great looks and performance May 15, 2008 M. Byford (Staffs UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A very attractive and well made keyboard. Quiet keys that are sensitive without being sloppy. My only criticism is that as a multi media keyboard it doesn't have hot keys to open I Explorer or Outlook express as my old one did. Good value from Amazon well done.
Excellent keyboard for laptop users May 6, 2008 P. J. Newton (Derby, United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used a laptop exclusively for over 7 years, and found regular PC keyboards rather clunky and uncomfortable when I switched. I looked at several miniature keyboards to try and get the same feel, but they all had a compact layout which I didn't want. The Cherry keyboard features a full size layout and laptop style keys, so I decided to give it a go. I wasn't disappointed. The keyboard itself looks smart and has a nice feel to it. Pressing the keys gives good feedback, both physically and aurally. I didn't think too much about the media keys, but they're quite handy when listening to music during work. All in all, this is an excellent keyboard. It's stylish and comfortable, but doesn't cost the Earth.
Excellent value keyboard April 16, 2008 P. Ware (Kent, U K) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a graphic illustrator and have used a Logitech multimedia keyboard for some time, and to be honest, rarely, if ever, used it's 'bells and whistles' so i decided to opt for a sleeker, smaller and less fussy looking board to fit alongside my drawing tablet. I particularly liked the look of the Cherry keyboard -it appeared stylish and smart, and also didn't have any unusual mouldings of the ergonomic variety - basically neat, conventional, and clean in appearance. The keys are soft and quiet and the overall impression is very slim and well made. Thankfully, there is not a trace of gloss finish too, as I generally prefer a matt black appearance on my peripherals. The lack of installation software was a concern, but the appropriate led's activated soon after plugging in and i was up and running quickly. For value build and style this is a very good keyboard, and i would recommend it for anyone looking to buy an inexpensive 'non-fussy' alternative.
A lovely keyboard for the money January 24, 2008 Robert Grist (London) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a fine keyboard for the money. I write a lot and, therefore, type a lot and I wanted something nice and solid with a delicate key stroke and ease of use. This is the keyboard I wanted. It's slim and stylish (for, what is, after all, a simple black keyboard). It's got a nice weight to it and a pleasant metallic feel and finish. It's got fairly quiet keys and the lightest of pressures is needed to operate them. It's also got some media keys (volume up and down, pause, play, next and last chapter/song, etc.) that work fine in Windows Media Player (have yet to try other media players). All in all, I was looking for a keyboard to replace my clunky old 7 one with something at a fair price that also looks and feels like it has some quality, and this works just fine for me.
