Impressive August 14, 2008 Gr3gZ0r (UK) Overall an impressive set of headphones. Fitted with long cables and good vibration feedback. Minor problem with comfort on the ears after 5 hours or so but only if your ears are on the larger side. Reccomended for gamers.
Brilliant For a while November 27, 2007 Mr. D. Mcmenemy When I recivied this headset and got it all set up which took about 5 mins if even, I was suprised at the sound quality. When listing to music and gaming it was the real deal. I havent heard anything that comes near the sound of these but recently my usb cable to the headset to power the vibration has started to give bother, in fact the cable has completly stoped working now which is a real disapoiment as I couldnt belive the sound quality. If there was a replacment cable I would by it but there isnt now so I may take my money some were else. If this product comes back into stock this headset is one I recomend. Tip: Be CAREFUL with the usb cable. Btw I have this headset for about 6 months now or more.
Eh... September 2, 2007 R. Johnson (Dagenham, Essex, England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I initially purchased a pair of these back in October of last year having had an older Logitech headset break on me. I wasn't looking to break the bank and these seemed to be amazingly good value for money. To start with, they were. Contrary to what I've seen one or two write in their reviews here, I think the sound quality on these is excellent. Combined with the bass feature and overwhelming earphones, it really makes for an enjoyable and immersive experience. However, less than six months later, a problem developed. While on Ventrilo, I was informed that my mic was emitting a horrible noise. After a little looking around, it was apparant that the connection going into the "remote" was loose, or broken, or whatever. Instead of trying to fix it, I decided to just order another pair as I was suitibly impressed and put it down to misstreatment. Five months later, despite having taken better care of them, the second pair have just had the exact same problem develop. I know there's the old adage that you get what you pay for but having a lifespan of less than six months is pretty weak. Overall a decent pair of headphones with an average mic that'll last you for just a couple of months. Value for money? You decide.
Is everybody mad? June 27, 2007 Joe Ardy (London) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I can't believe some of the other reviews about these headphones, because I am very dissapointed with mine. The sound quality from the headphones is appaling very muffled and distorted, I thought I was getting a bargain after reading the other reviews, but it turned out to be a waste of money. I won't be using them again.
Excellent all-round headphones June 2, 2007 A. Palmer 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly, the price is brilliant. It cost me 15.70 overall (including all postage, packaging, and tax) which is definitely on the market as one of the cheapest headsets available. The sound quality is pretty good, although my old headphones were slightly more clear (for further information they were the "Altec Lansing AHS302i"). The microphone is reasonably good and easy to adjust into the correct position, so no complaints there, especially as they are Skype certified. Comfort wise, they are satisfactory. I find that it feels a relief to take them off, and the pressure on the ears is uncomfortable after prolonged use. However, they certainly aren't unbearable, and the tightness is required for the vibration, which is outstanding when playing first person shooters. I personally tend to turn off the vibration when listening to certain genres of music as I find it somewhat distracting though. Overall, an investment that I am thoroughly happy with, and I would definitely recommend these headphones to gamers who are on a budget.
