The microphone is very cheap, but it works fine. You have to be very close to the microphone for it to pick up sound. But in the end it does its job.

sound quality is terrible, cheaply made, and you have to be 2 inches away from the mic for it to pick up anything, you have to speak directly over the pickup device. if you are at an angle it hardly picks up anything, even 2 inches away.

Before I bought this mic from Amazon, I thought it would be fairly rubbish given it costs only four pounds. The surprising thing is that it's actually not bad at all for Skypeing. You need to keep the mic about 2-4 inches away from your mouth, and the reception at the other end is nicely clear, so I'm told. Any further away than 4 inches away and the mic fails to pick-up. But for four pounds it's cheap and cheerful enough.

Well what can you say about something that only costs 1.27 ! It worked fine staight out of the box, easy to assemble, plugs into the microphone socket of your computer. You can then use the Sounds and Audio Devices icon in Control Panel gto adjust the volume.
