ITALK VOICE RECORDER FOR IPOD

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Compatibility   July 2, 2008
eoutlet (Manchester)
iTalk, originally designed for earlier iPod models, is not fully compatible with 3rd gen iPod nano and iPod classic, but it will work. iTalk will record as with earlier iPod models, but without showing the usual iTalk sub screen. The only thing you miss by not having this sub screen is the ability to choose your Gain setting.

Once you have connected iTalk to your 3rd generation iPod nano or iPod classic, if the Voice Memos option does not show up in your Main Menu, reset your iPod with iTalk Pro attached. Do this by holding down the Menu and Center Select buttons together for about 5 seconds until you see the Apple logo on the screen. When the main iPod Menu reappears, you will see Voice Memos in the menu. Choose Voice Memos from the menu and you will see 3 options; Start Recording, Quality, and Delete All. Choose Start Recording to get started.
