I couldn't get it to work with Windows 98 or Windows 98SE, it does however work OK with Windows XP. It isn't currently supported by Linux (vendor=0ac8 ProdID=307b)

The CD that came with the web cam could not be read, it was not compataible with windows XP. I contacted the supplier who gave me a link to download the software. The software does not recongise the web cam and crashes every time it is launhced on XP. IT works ok with windows 2003 but I can't get it to work with XP.

It's not a bad camera but this is NOT a night vision cam. Which came as a disappointment because that's why I ordered two of them. When I opened the box I found it's just an ordinary web cam of average quality. When it gets dark in the room, the 6 LEDs will come on and illuminate the person in front of the camera. That's not night vision, that's a webcam with a torch. If that's good enough for you, fine, but if you're looking for a proper night vision cam give this one a miss. It's not what it says it is.

First class delivery,arrived in 3 days and it is exactly how it was described.The webcam may be cheap but it is just as good if not better than the more pricey ones on the market. Brilliant wee webcam !!!!!!

We were a bit wary about buying this webcam as it was so cheap but it is fantastic for the price and does everything I need. It was quick and easy to install. The microphone works fine. The picture is fine - everything I need. I can't really comment on the little lights as I always have to have the room well lit anyway. It has gone up slightly in price from what we paid but it's still very cheap and ideal for the laptop. It works equally as well as the dearer one on the PC. Fast delivery too!
