Work well but too fragile! May 3, 2008 T. Reid (Scotland, UK) I've just broken my second pair of these in the four months since I got my iPhone and I'm very annoyed that such expensive items aren't more robust. Avoid them, unless you don't like to be able to move around with your music.
Good sound quality but unpracticle and annoying May 1, 2008 Shareque Husain (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these off the Apple website thinking that Apple will only consider brilliant products to be sold on their own website. The sound quality of these does not disappoint. Very rich and very clear. However, the design of these earphones is stupid. The (good looking) aluminium in-ear phones are too heavy to stay in your ear. I had Sony in-ear phones for about 30 for my old ipod, and i was able to go running or just walk around with them in my ear, with no problems at all. These however, fall out as soon as you move your head slightly to the left or right. And its not a matter of the wrong soft in-ear silicone fittings (i tried my Sony ones on this, which fit perfect, and they still kept falling out). Its an overpriced piece of rubbish, and i would recommend you to try them out before you buy them. There is a reason why Apple does not offer them in their flagship Regent Street London shop. I boght Sennheiser headphones since then and am very happy.
These are rubbish! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! April 21, 2008 The Book Monkey (London, UK) These ear phones are rubbish. Admittedly, the sound quality when they work is pretty good, and a lot better than the tinny nonsense that Apple flog with the iphone. However, I am on my third pair in 6 months as the chord keeps fraying and splitting. And, most annoyingly of all, the rubber buds keep falling off, so you lose them and then can't use them at all. Two serious design faults - avoid unless you enjoy being permanently frustrated.

Poor manufactoring coupled with poor customer service February 5, 2008 Marc Ingram 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bearing in mind the small range of headphones available for the iPhone without buying an adapter, its easy to understand how you can find yourself justifying 70 for a pair of fancy looking headphones for your fancy looking iPhone. The certainly do look nice, when you get them they feel nice - reassuringly heavy - and compared to the Apple headphones that come with the iPhone they sound fantastic! I have had mine for 2 months now and am sending my second pair back. My first stopped working after 3 weeks, something in the button kept pausing tracks that were playing. Now the replacement set have stopped working altogether in the left ear. What frustrates me is that when they did work the sound quality from them is very average. Certainly not worth the money they are charging - I only bought a pair as my old headphones wouldn't work with the iPhone jack. It is entirely possible that I have had bad luck and this is not a common representation of the headphones. However, I am having large issues in returning these. Most notcibly the downtime of their website that is required to complete forms for returns. There is no Customer contact phone number that I am aware of, and I am finding communication with the company to be taking a large amount of effort on my behalf: Chasing up, finding correct people to speak to etc etc. Having spent so much money on an product that has broken twice in such a short period of time I would expect a much simpler process to get back to what I paid for: A pair of relaible headphones. I am left feeling because of the small range of headphones available I have been semi forced into paying excessive money for a substandard product that offers very poor customer support. If you are looking for a good headphone, buy something that lets you plug in your old pair.
