| Customer Reviews:
good concept, bad execution November 11, 2007 Neil G (Stourbridge, England) I was initially very impressed with this device, as there are no trailing wires, it sits very neat in the car with good access to the MP3 player and its very simple to use. However the sound quality was very poor. No matter what frequency I tried I could not get rid of background hiss, and there was a higher frequency noise that went up and down along with my engine revs! On top of that, the overall sound was like a radio station thats just out of a clear tune (and yes, I had set up the device properly). Disappointing as the other reviews were so positive and the design is so good. Im going to give the Belkin tunebase transmitter a go next.
Excellent little gadget November 5, 2007 S. Naylor (Bromley) Thanks to the previous reviewer I also bought this item. I have not been disappointed. I use it for in car travel to and from work (London to Medway) and it is both easy to use and works perfectly.
Value for money October 16, 2007 E. Mitchell (UK) It was with some resrvations that I bought this transmitter as I had no previous experience of similar products and no reviews on this product to go by. My fears were unfounded as it has proved to be a good buy - easy to use, decent sound quality and cheap! I use it for my portable Mini-disc and Cassette players as well as my MP3 player, although the housing unit is only suitable for holding the iPod (not such a disadvantage when most other transmitters don't even have a platform for holding the iPod!). If, like me, you have changed cars and no longer have a cassette player or mini-disc player, this is a viable alternative. Sound quality may not be state of the art but is pretty good for the price. Easy to tune in to a matching radio frequency although on long journeys I have occasionally had to re-set both if a local FM station has "clashed" with my original setting.
