The bass wont shake your light fittings but reproduction is great.Looks the biz and remote control is excellent. For a dock that charges ,allows ipod remote control and delivers musically look no further for the money.Oh and try to resist playing with the speaker positions if you can

Recently ordered iDragon on looks, price & 20watts, to upgrade a portable dock.
Very pleased with unit looks as it sits on an old 1930s radiogram in front room, & sounds great, excellent on wide range of music styles, I put my ipod through the amp & speakers to be blown away.
I did alot of research into ipod docks either looked like 80s ghetto blaster or 70s alarm clock radios, but only this stood out for price & design.
Having remote is great plus, able to change EQ setting & search for playlists or lps/tracks from favourite chair.

If you're looking for pristine sound quality then perhaps you should keep searching - but also expect to spend a bit more...
For its price the I-Dragon is a great piece of equipment: its very well made and feels like its built to last (although I've only had mine for three weeks) and the sound isn't anything to complain about.
Also as you may have seen it looks great - this was a big selling point for me and it is definately as good as it looks - I'm still not bored of putting the speakers into any position that I fancy.

I was looking for a set of speakers that charged my iPod, were loud enough to be heard at a good party and came with a remote control - the I-Dragon delivered on all of these.

If im honest, the design of the I-Dragon rather than its function appealed to me. I've wanted something for my ipod for sometime so i didnt have to rely on listening to my music through the pc all the time.
Most systems ive looked at have been perfectly functional but visually arent appealing at all...until i saw the I-Dragon.
The I-Dragon is a perfect piece of hardware at a price thats affordable. When it arrived i was surprised how sturdy the system is. The speakers can be twisted and moved into whatever formation you like and the sound is perfectly acceptable if your using it in a bedroom or kitchen etc.
Another bonus thats not apparent from the pictures is an inbuilt storage place for the small remote control unit. The remote allows you to fully control your ipod if its one of the newer generation of Ipod. I've tried it also on my old early 15G Ipod (which i thought was dead!) and have had no problem whatsoever. The kit comes with cradles for lots of different types of Ipod, which ive found you dont really need to use. Another bonus is that comes with a small cable so if you have an Ipod shuffle that connects to a USB you can still just plug in a cable that connects to the headphone socket and voila! Music from the shuffle plays through the system!.
The only downside is that the I-Dragon loves to listen to other remote controllers apart from the one provided so if you leave your Ipod plugged in you can often find that pressing play on your dvd remote may also tell the I-Dragon to start playing your music!
I'd really recommend this little unit to anyone who wants to use their Ipod away from the pc or without headphones, Its not a proper portable system as you cant take it outside, and to be honest once you've got it out of the box you'll want to show it off and listen to it in various places round the house :)
