Product Description Now here, in all its simplicity, is a completely functional stereo system offering excellent acoustic performances and dedicated to your iPod, with AudioStation loudspeakers from Logitech. This system of office loudspeakers will indeed restore the sound of your particular MP3 player with astounding quality and it also integrates a digital AM/FM radio in order to listen to your favorite stations. Thanks to its two way satellite loudspeakers (tweeters with a 2,5 cm dome and long power high woofers carrying a distance of 10 cm), the AudioStation system offers you precision, crystalline clarity and low registers in all circumstances. In the same way, its video connection enables it to restore photographs and vidéos contained on your player, directly to your television set (provided that your iPod has photograph and/or video reading capabilities). It can also reload your player to the start. The all-purpose AudioStation even has an auxiliary entry for reading sound generated from an external source (like another MP3 player for example).Provided with a remote control for greater comfort of use, the AudioStation is the ideal alternative to a cumbersome audio installation and will be the perfect addition to your iPod!

So disapointing July 13, 2007 Mr. J. G. Ridley (Tonbridge, UK) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
This dock got a rave review for it's sound quality at the Ipodlounge website and on the strength of that I bought one of these. But my experience is that the sound is quite dreadful - both muffled and distorted even at quite low volume. Not a patch on my JBL On Time dock. Don't waste your money on this as I did. Sadly I can't give it no stars at all!

Having searched for ages for a decent sounding IPOD dock with FM, I thought I had cracked it with the Logitech Audiostation. But no.... The functionality is not brilliant, the FM reception is poor, even after plugging in to my FM aerial on the roof, the RDS functionality didn't work at all, and the sound, which had received decent reviews, was OK, but not a patch on my lad's JBL Time machine. I will keep looking
Logitech Audiostation, HiFi replacement February 28, 2007 Chris Online (London) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I received Logitech's fantastic AudioStation as a Christmas present. I use it in my bedroom replacing my old Sony mini HiFi. My video iPod fits perfectly and the sound quality is amazing. It's simular size to my old HiFi but looks bang up to date in black. I prefer leaving the covers on the speakers for that understated look. The sound quality is far superior to my Sony. I spent some time looking at Apple's own speaker system, Bose and Altec's. To be honest Apple's sound awful. Bose has good base but the Logitech sounds the best overall. It was my only choice. Thanks to my other half for ordering it for me. Highly recommended
Great sound, shame about the functionality January 27, 2007 MusicLover (London UK) 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought this having read the review on iLounge. The sound quality is unbelievably good, but there are some serious problems: if you change between songs/albums/artist whilst the ipod is in the unit, it doesn't cope. It either skips tracks altogether or just defaults to playing the entire contents of the ipod. In addition, if you do get it to play what you want, it plays the first two seconds, then cuts out, then resumes again. It's very irritating. Similarly, the remote control is pretty average, and only occasionally does what it's supposed to do. I'd say this is a great buy if you don't mind deciding what you want to play before you put the ipod in (the other option is to take it out every time you want to change tracks) and if you don't mind having a remote that responds only sometimes.
