Worth the money May 28, 2008

As a bit of an audiophile I bought these PC speakers after realising very quickly my default computer speakers made me depressed. These were a superb change, I enjoyed listening to music more. The sound quality for the price really is very good.
However, after my 4+ year affair with these, I have just recently upgraded to Altec Lansing MX5021. Still yet to arrive, but from what I can tell they are going to blow me away too. Sadly I do spend a lot of time on the computer and so I do mostly listen to music on the computer, if you, like me, have a large music collection on your PC and mostly listen to music on it, then it really is worth investing in some decent sounding speakers. One day i do plan on having a hi-fi separates system connected to my PC. Hopefully with B&W DM602 S3, and a lovely amp.
If you want a fairly powerful sounding pair of PC speakers, at a relatively low cost, that last for ages, then don't hesitate to buy these now.

I ve had these speakers now for around 6 months and im very happy with them.Sound and build quality (for the money) is excellent.Obviously they cant compete with expensive Hi-Fi speakers but for around 60 you are getting a bass unit with satelite speakers and amps and a remote volume with on/off switch. the only fault i can find is that the cables from the bass unit to the satelite speakers are a little short,but if you are placing the bass unit under your desk and satelite speakers either side of your monitor there should be no problem.. very recommended.
