Design fault? May 2, 2008 Mr. G. O'doherty Bought one of these yesterday. The sound quality's fine but the real nagging, already, flaw is the cradle for the Nano. Unlike the previous reviewer, I can get the headphone cable to connect properly with the ipod but the hole in the cradle is too far over one side, which means that the player doesn't sit in the cradle properly. I don't see why I should have to adapt the cradle when it should have been made correctly in the first place. Will change it but I can't see how that fault could be peculiar to one unit. Check it before you buy it. It would have been nice if the unit charged the player as well, but perhaps I'm expecting too much? 3 stars, but the cradle thing is really annoying.
Great value February 22, 2008 Mr. J. Wilson (Accrington, England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought these for less than 16 from Amazon and they are fantastic value - compact, convenient and they sound good too - perfect for taking on holiday.
lack of joined up thinking January 24, 2008 S. Craftman (North Powys) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The supplied adapter for the nano doesn't fit my ipod, and, although it would appear that all that needs to be done is to remove a small piece of plastic from the adapter, even after doing that the plastic of the adapter is thick enough to prevent the jack making proper contact with the ipod. Consequently the ipod lolls inelegantly in the cradle space, making the unit look cheap and nasty. The carrying case is an interesting idea, but I'd really rather Logitech had supplied an adequate adapter instead. The sound is reasonable - I only wanted the speakers to provide background music, for example, when cooking, and as such they're fine. But I can't help wishing I'd spent a bit more money out on something else...
Excellent Value for Money June 30, 2006 Mr. J. A. Maxwell (London) 28 out of 28 found this review helpful
At 39.99, these speakers offer great value for money. The sound is OK given the size. There is no doubt that there are better quality speakers on the market - but ususally much more expensive. Sound quality is good for the size, and it comes with a great travel bag as well. Annoyingly the audio cable sticks out of the top of the ipod and looks a bit messy(unless you have the Nano), but for having to take on holiday, for this price, you cant go wrong.
