5 out of 5 stars Excellent purchase   September 24, 2008
Reviewer from London
I am delighted with these speakers. I not only use them as an ipod dock, but also have a line in from my internet clock radio (which only has an integral mono speaker). Amazingly, the speakers can automatically power on when the 'line in' unit is turned on. Equally amazingly, when the clock radio comes on in the morning, the speakers automatically come on with it at the preset volume. The sound is impressive given the cost; I am particularly impressed with the balanced sound and effective bass tone achieved at low volumes, though they are generally good a higher volumes for their intended use. I rarely bother to write reviews, but in this case think that the product merits it.

5 out of 5 stars i bought this on offer here at 30   September 3, 2008
Mr. B. M. Pitcher (UK)
this item was on offer when i got it as a deal of the week, but the quality is sooooo good that i would have paid much more. the middle button can be use as a power button andd volume control and the remote works well, personally i prefer the remotes with "menu" and "select" and "up" and "down" so i can navigate through the ipod.
The speakers come with loads of moulded supports for the dock and you can get one to fit any ipod, when you bought your ipod you should have got one anyway with it.

VERY, VERY GOOD

5 out of 5 stars Just great   August 28, 2008

This is the second set of these speakers I have purchased. I bought a set for my bedroom at a fantastic price and was so impressed with them, when they came on offer again I bought another set for the kitchen.

I had originally purchased Bose for the living room which were much more expensive, so was a little sceptical at the cheapness of these in comparison. However I read the feedback and though they were worth a try for the money. I would have to say that I was completely thrilled with the quality of sound and the look and feel of them. They are not cheap or tinny, they are quality speakers with an excellent sound from the lowest to the highest volume settings. The remote is responsive, although I tend to use mine manually. In hindsight, I wish I hadn't wasted so much money on the Bose originally. Although it possibly has less oomph, it is just a great little speaker system. The fact that I have purchased two speaks for itself. I don't think you can really go wrong with them.

5 out of 5 stars Great Little speakers   August 28, 2008

Was a little dubious as to how good the speakers could be judging by the size......but after using them for about a week now I'm totally sold. Great sound, really portable and look pretty cool to. Would 100% recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Great deal for the price.   August 25, 2008

Arrived a few days ago, thought this was a steal at thirty quid, compared to the options around the same price range.

Was glad to see the various universal dock adapters. All works (including remote) with my 80gb classic. One feature which wasn't documented but works at least for the ipod classic is that the speaker will automatically turn on with any alarm set on the ipod. Which is great, as it really does make a great alarm clock.

Sound can be a bit bass-y if you're not in the sweet spot, but I suppose it's better than being too tinny. Can't fault the sound quality or the design. Aux input and video out a bonus.
