my pc was running fine but somethings needed tuning up and the speed for one so i desided to give this a try and i wish i didnt bother! this is the worst software i have ever installed and had to pay for! it made my internet exporer vanish and its lost most of the files what i need to start most of my software! just about nothing works now thx fix it! this software is only useful for a brand new pc more than likely not a heavily used gaming pc! i dont advise u buy it!

Since I've been using this product I have hit all sorts of problems.
It 'cleaned up' my file (the 'safe ones') and stopped Nero burning cds. Restoring did not work. I had to identify and reinstate the missing file myself.
Currently I've lost my USB 'plug and play' facility but Fix-it reports all usb systems working OK.
After spending 2 hours downloading an update it bombed out at the instal stage.
In all these types of happenings I find the screen display less than helpful in informing me of what is going on. For example consider the message "one of the updates could not be installed".
It is left to me to try to find out which update the screen is refering to.
Potentially Fix-it has many useful features but it is 'flaky'.
In retrospect I would choose another front runner from the reviews

In a nutshell idiot proof. What more can you say? You can go deep and tinker about or use the one click settings. I have this installed on all 5 computers and recommend it to many people. Weekly or less antivirus updates that last the life cycle of the product at no extra cost.
