Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It's wired, stylish, compact, ambidextrous and it's finally here. This mouse is made for mobility and offers a cool alternative to notebook touch pads with an athletic-inspired design and blue LED. This High Definition mouse even sports a new compact Tilt Wheel and Magnifier tool for easier navigation of spreadsheets, documents and images. It's a mouse that looks as good in your gym bag as in your laptop bag.

4 out of 5 stars corking mouse!   November 16, 2008
P. Patel (London)
I've owned this mouse for about 2 yrs now and its still going strong. I love it to bits and as others have said, it does look good. ... and i would buy it again. The reason i didn't go for a wireless one is because i cant be bothered with changing the batteries! This one is great, and the accuracy is fine for me. As someone has mentioned, the scroll wheel rubber has streached, and this is true for mine also(bit annoying!!) but i still love it. - maybe not for someone with large hands or use it constantly for long periods of time.
Hope this helps :)

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful compact design   October 18, 2008

I find the trackpad on my laptop O.K. to use for short periods of time when I am composing a e-mail or word document on the train or in a cafe, but for more substansial use I need a mouse. This is a perfect option the device is so small it fits easily into my already over packed laptop bag without a problem. I can even use it on the train without annying the person next to me when I use my smaller 11" laptop.

The size is not a problem as it fits into your hand perfecly, I would not recomend using it for too long as it is stll a little too small for long term comfort. The opics are still very precice and compare well to larger models.

3 out of 5 stars Not bad, not awesome.   October 11, 2008

I got this to go with an HP TX2550ea tablet, and chose it for price over one of the Logitech cordless options.

The build quality is pretty good: it doesn't feel cheap or fragile, I'd say it could survive a few accidental knocks. The rubber sides seem a tad pointless though, it's the kind of rubber that doesn't actually have a lot of friction: the same texture in plastic would probably have the same effect.

It's generally a decent little mouse: the pointer is accurate as any branded mouse would be, and it's comfortable, but it has a few flaws. Like one of the other reviews pointed out, the middle mouse button (pressing down on the wheel) is a little stiffer and more noisy than it needs to be, whereas the side-to-side scroll is fairly free. The thumb button isn't in the way but it's easy to press when you want it, although it's clearly designed for right handed users even though the rest of the features are ambidextrous. The blue light at the back is pretty but pointless: when you use the mouse your hand covers up the little window it shines through. Pointless aesthetics, if you're not too fussed on the look. The mouse wheel movement is SMOOTH, not clicky. I really don't like smooth wheels because I think they're less accurate and less controlled, but then I should have looked this up before I bought it. Oops. Each to their own.

There are two main flaws in my mind though: the silvery plastic bezel at the front of the two main buttons is far too far back from the front: if I hold the mouse my fingertips are pretty much resting on it. This means you can't really press the buttons with your fingertips because they'll just press down on the plastic casing instead of the button: you need to use your finger as a whole. Probably just to do with the way I hold the mouse, but it's annoying all the same.

The other thing that bugs me is the USB plug. After the standard USB connection the black plastic casing that sticks out the side of my machine is a full inch long at least, and has no purpose other than to have a little USB logo. Notebook mice are supposed to be compact and portable, but this thing sticks out a comparative mile even to some desktop mice connectors. It means you have to be a bit more careful you don't whack it against something when you're moving around, because that could end up damaging the USB socket in your machine if you're unlucky.

It's not a bad wee mouse, it's just not fantastic. It looks good, it feels comfortable, and it does the job, but the annoying features it has will always make me think of better ways it could have been done. I'm happy enough to keep on using it, but if it breaks down any time soon I'll not be too gutted to have the chance to replace it with something else.

5 out of 5 stars Good laptop mouse   September 5, 2008

I have had this mouse for a month or so. Does a good job and the scroll wheel is very smooth. Small enough that I can fit it on my laptop in that space between keyboard and the edge and it works well.
I like the blue light at the end too.

3 out of 5 stars Better than Most   August 27, 2008
Joe MCMXLVII (UK)
I use computer mice heavily for my work and I like a small one because it gives me excellent control using just my fingers, so avoiding tennis elbow. And I don't want cordless mice because they give no advantage and recharging is a serious nuisance.

This mouse would have fitted the bill perfectly except that the side button is nowhere in particular and annoyingly difficult to find. Then it died after a few months because a cosmetic plastic tyre on the wheel stretched, making the left-right scroll unusable.

I'm giving it three stars because it's better than most. At least it's not hopeless.
