Double moulded 24 carat gold plated connectors and an outer nylon sheath are used to further enhance the build quality. Gas Injected Dielectric Material is used for isolation, to keep the capacitance low and to maintain the signal strength and impedance across the cable. Cable strain relief to protect the cable enables the DVI cable to be bent in a multitude of directions without breaking, unlike many poorer quality DVI cables sold by different companies.These cables were designed to transfer high-bandwidth uncompressed digital video or an uninterrupted high quality analogue signal. Please remember that DVI cables dont transfer audio signals. If you want sound, you will usually require a 2 phono male to 2 phono male lead, which Empire Wire also stocks. Our cables work with all digital and analogue devices that have DVI outputs and inputs. Please remember that analogue and digital devices cannot be used in conjunction with each other. For example, a computer that is producing a digital DVI signal cannot be used with a projector that only accepts an analogue DVI signal.
