Good value VGA to TV converter that works well July 5, 2007

Comes with an impressive set of cables, everything I needed.
I assume that the way it is intended to be used in the UK is to use its RGB to Scart interface. However, I used the S-video interface into a scart adapter (for complex reasons) and found that colour was almost monochrome. However, when I used the video output (single phono) into the scart adapter together with the S-video, colour was excellent (sorry I haven't tried it minus the S-video). I couldn't find an NTSC/PAL switch. The box supplied seemed to be PAL only. My computer graphics card has both VGA and DVI output, so I used a DVI to VGA adapter to connect to this box and now have extended my desktop onto the TV screen. This is almost a 5 star product let down by the manual.
