It's not often I walk into a shop and buy something expensive straight away... July 8, 2008

...but for once I was very impressed with what was offered by the Soundsticks. I was immediately drawn to them by the transparent cases and futuristic look and after asking for a demo of them I was incredibly impressed. I compared them with a couple of other speaker sets in the shop which were more expensive and I did not feel they offered better quality for an extra 10 or 20. And as it was 190 more for the Bose speakers, I went with these.
They are currently plugged into my MacBook laptop and are also used on my record player, the adjustable bass is excellent (as I bass player I would say this!) and the sound quality is second to none for the price. I could even say they are better than my Mini Hi-Fi speakers however it all depends on where you have the three satellites in relation to each other and the surface they are placed on.
My one gripe with the product is it not having an obvious volume control. I spent half an hour wondering why they sounded so much quieter than in the shop when my Mac was outputting full volume and felt like a complete fool when I finally found it. Even on a see through case it blends in well

My friend owns a photography studio and listens to music all day on these things, the studio is about 10m sq.
and the sound quality is amazing, fills the room, excellent bass. This system is a must for those who truly enjoy their music.
They are of course great looking and so easy to use!
Ordering my own set very soon!

I bought this product couple of months ago and I was waiting to jusify its function with time duration...but couldnt beat it...!
Who ever is thinking to have a good music system in a great price with awesome look, this is a must for them...!
I am even thinking to carry it along with me to overseas when I will be leaving for home in India...
In one word Folks, Great Product and I am Flatered...!

These speakers are great, I've just got them, took them straight out the box and the sound is impeccable; and I'm straight on here saying how good they are! I'm using these speakers for my iBook G4 and all entertainment purposes and they're great. I've tried everything from some computer speech to full orchestral music (with dialogue). Crystal clear sound and Max volume is loud enough for a good sized party lol.
Style wise they're exactly the answer for a modern styled home, bright or dark they'll fit, but they're best in a modern home. Not as bulky as I thought, and the cables are easily hidden away. Fantastic purchase for this price (compared to Apple UK store) I'd buy them again any day!

I got these for my 16th birthday and my first thought was "well they look cool but the speakers mostly plastic" anyway my cousin came up with the idea of putting a ping pong ball in the little whole in the top of he sub and turning the bass up full, the thing went flying!!!! Since then I've used them for my ipod, PC, PS2 and even skype, they're clear as though your in front of the person/band/giant monster trying to kill you and the bass make these equally as cool for movies!!! Also if your PC has HD sound then you must buy these!!!! it makes them awesome!!!! also the volume controls are really good as they're sort of fancie and work well. A must buy for anyone under the age of 40!!!!( and just neccesary for life if your 16)
