Got two to link my laptop with my printer on the other side of the room. I have not noitced it being slower at all. A good buy.

My FLIP Camera has a USB port that hangs precariously onto my computer, so I bought these lengthy cables. Now I can set my FLIP Camera on my desk and pass the information through the cable to my computer's USB ports. I don't know why FLIP didn't think of this sooner. No chance of breaking the FLIP USB port anymore. Plus these cables are dirt cheap and very well made!

For what it's worth, I'm using it to extend an already long 5M USB cable to go all the way round the room to my printer. No difference in printing speed!

What can I say; this does what it's supposed to do. With my pen drive stuck on the end and the extension plug into a USB2 socket I haven't noticed any difference in down/upload compared to a direct plug in. Also good when attached to my printer, however getting the cable in black to match all my other PC bits would have been nice, but you can't have it all.

Bought one as I recently got a USB MP3 player and don't have USB connectors on the front of my PC, and am fed up of reaching round the back of my PC to upload a few tracks.Well worth buying one if you are getting a USB pendrive or MP3 player and don't want to be mucking around behind your computer using them.
