Quick Reviews! June 4, 2008 carlosnightman (A Seat) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you want a cheap, reliable set of CDRs which come with their own individual case ans slip of paper to write tracklists etc on, then look no further. With this set you get 10 disks and cases for, at the moment, less than seven quid (postage is added on to the 1.43 given price). Unlike disks from other manufacturers, these do not become corrupted halfway through the burning process, or fail on 97%. They are compatible with any burner, and play without problems. Each disk is 700Mb, meaning about 80 minutes of music, or if you burn as a data cd many more albums and lots of your best pictures can be stored. The recording process is quick, and the final product is exactly as you want it to be. I prefer individual cases like this to spindles, as i think they look better on my shelf as part of my collection. The cases themselves are strong enough as long as you don't stand on them. Perfect for burning and keeping.
You Can Do It With Verbatim! February 10, 2008 Mrs. Dawnc Alexandre (Jersey (CI)) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A CD-R is a Record able disk, which allows you to store masses of data onto a disk. If you have a burner inside your computer or laptop you can use these CD's to store necessary data onto a disk for backup. You can store anything you want, from documents, programs, software, music, mail and even videos. A CD-R can store up to 700MB's of data. If this doesn't satisfy you, you can burn up to 80 minutes of music as a Audio CD instead, whether if it's a mixed album of random songs, or even a proper album or single. Unfortunately a CD-R disk can only be used once. Once data is burnt onto the CD, you cannot erase the data off the CD! This CD is done by the company Verbatim. It is just one of a few companies that design these type of burnable CD's. There are no differences between the CD itself. It is just done by a different company! The only difference is that there are 10 Disks in this box and they come provided with 10 Jewel Cases, which you can use to store the CD's or other types of CD's! My Grade For The Pack: 8/10: Enjoyable, Fair-Play, Thumbs Up My Wish: Sometimes when I finished burning a CD I keep thinking to myself I've just wasted a CD on something that I don't exactly want. So I do wish you have the option of erasing some of the contents off the CD! Final Comments: The fact is, if you use a Computer or a Laptop very often and you tend to save a lot of data on your machine, backing up your data is vital. If you don't backup your data and your computer crashes you will not only loose your computer, you will loose your precious data. So if you have a burner on your Computer or Laptop that allows you to burn CD's and you use your machine frequently, then a pack of CD's is well worth the hassle! Review By Captain Chris Kipper
