 Beware - Very Loud For The Price. May 12, 2008

Just received these from amazon, well HDNL to be precise.
Ordered on the 6th of May and received them on the 12th, which isnt too great, but warranted a 4 star review. Which i dont usually do, but it was pretty irritating.
On to the review: I use a laptop, and the inbuilt speakers were to be honest, pretty rubbish. I hooked these up today and WOW i was blown away, i mean seriously, if i put it on full bass and full volume on my laptop i can hear the music from about 3-4 houses away, and can feel the ground shake when i walk into my house lol
Im not much of a volume freak though, so hardcore people might think this is too soft, but trust me, ive been to my fair share of clubs and this system on full volume with deafen you... really...
4/5, great speakers... recommended.

This is a nice system - well made, solid, huge bass etc.
I feely guilty not giving it a 5. For the price, I don't think there's anyting better out there for a 2.1 (well, stereo & bass system).
I'd like something more flat/neutral or with more control, but I purchased two, so my minor niggles are simply that.
The reviews don't lie - you won't get perfect sound for under 30.
As long as your expectations are based on having spent 30, you'll be amazed.
Audiophiles need not apply, and should consider a much larger budget.

I have had these speakers for almost a year now and have not one bad word to say. The sound quality is brilliant and undistorted, even at the top end of the volume level.
For the price, you simply wont get a better pair of speakers. 10/10.
