Easy Riser June 12, 2008 Mr. D. H. Beaumont (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've never written a review before, but this thing is so good I had to spread the word. It is a lot more solid than it looks on the picture and has totally revolutionised my posture and workspace. It is simply brilliant. If you are looking for something like this, look no further. This is everything you need it to be, simple, strong, and inexpensive. Buy it.
Very good laptop stand! June 3, 2008 Avgoustinos Kadis (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was afraid that it wouldn't hold my 17-inches laptop but it does!! It looks a lot nicer than the picture! The plastic is very nice! Light .. it's great! Thx!!
Fantastic. May 29, 2008 CAZ (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product is totally worth its small price. A paper colour coded hand size chart comes in the box, and whatever hand size you are, you just turn the dial on the stand to that colour, and you have a perfect set-up. This stand is really sturdy and looks good. The one thing I also did, was to put a piece of non-slip rubber under the stand, because I found the base to be a little slippery on my desk top. My laptop is 15 1/2 wide screen, its not very deep but I do have to hold my lap top down when opening, to make sure it doesn't come off the stand, but once open I find it is very sturdy. If I ever needed another one, I would buy again without any hesitation.
How did i manage without it? April 19, 2008 Mr. S. D. Neale (Surrey, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Have a 17" widscreen laptop which it supports effortlesly, the laptop temperature has dropped considerably, the cooling fan doesnt need to run anymore (why buy a cooler?)- my neck, back and shoulders don't ache so much - its sturdy - portable - it fits in my laptop ruck sack - easy quick and simple to put up - cheap...probably buy another one to leave at work because i sometimes forget to take it to work with me... what more do you want?
Only five choices of angle March 28, 2008 R. Peterson (Cambridgeshire, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The product description states that the stand has "angle settings from 3 degrees up to 40 degrees." Actually the stand can be set to only five discrete positions, 6 degrees, 25 degrees, 32.5 degrees, 40 degrees, and 50 degrees. That said, it came with a quick-setup guide to help you figure out which setting to use, and the 40 degree setting works nicely for me. It doesn't take up much room on my desk, the open back helps the computer stay cool (the fan is running noticeably less than before) and it looks nice (mine is all gray/black, not blue/gray as in the amazon picture.) I highly recommend this product.
