OK, I know it sounds odd, but I bought a brand new G5 (this is the silver one), and occasionally the cursor would behave erractically (i.e. could move it up or down, but only diagonally). Nothing in computing is more annoying, then when a moue does not work properly (ok second to keyboard maybe). I asked my brother to use it on his laptop. He used it for a week without a single problem. I waited, wondering whether to sell it on ebay (I could not return it as worked on my bro's PC, and it was obviously not faulty). Eventually I cornered the problem to this mat!!! The fabric is very cloth like, and I don't think the G5 laser likes it. Maybe the Speed mat is diffferent but I'm annoyed with Razor as how can a mouse not work on a mouse mat? I wonder if other people have had situations where a mouse does not respond to a particualr mouse mat?
The other thing is, its def. not for gaming. there's too much friction (which is why this is called Control).

Be aware this mat is huge check your dimensions b4 ordering.For me it is perfect,tracking is amazing and my headshot count has doubled since i got it!

Good buy, really large and comfortable and prefferd it alot more then the exactmat i had before. 10/10
