Product Description TDK DVD-R 16 speed (Pack of 50). Thanks to their capacity of 4.7GB, up to six hours of high-resolution digital video can be recorded onto a blank TDK DVD. Blank TDK DVDs are of course also ideal for data-backup and multimedia applications.

I ordered a pack of 50 and they all worked...so i ordered another set of 50 and not one of them worked. Whether i got a dodgy pack or the product has changed im unsure. One thing is for sure i won't be buying TDK DVDs again!!!
100% success rate! April 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm on my second spindle now with 100% success using a Pioneer 115DBK. Good value!
Work great but too dark to write on! March 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I agree with the previous comment that these disks are too dark to write clearly on. I have stopped buying TDK disks for this reason alone. It's a shame since my previous 50 disks all worked flawlessly(burned at 12x) and I do trust the brand.
WHY HAVE THEY PRINTED A DARK BLUE INK ON THE WRITING SURFACE? January 30, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I recently bought a spindle of 50 - only to find the graphics surface not only has far too much of the TDK logo elements splashed across the surface where consumers personal writing should be - but they have printed the surface in a dark blue metallic ink. I used a couple but found, even with a thick black pen, the dark blue ink made my writing very difficult to read, and the reflective nature of the ink gave my writing a 'ghosted' double appearance. I was so annoyed I threw them in the bin and bought another brand. TDK - IF YOU EVER READ THIS - TAKE A GOOD REVIEW OF THIS WITH YOUR GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT & DON'T LOSE CUSTOM OVER SOMETHING SO AVOIDABLE!
They do work... January 15, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've used TDK discs and had no problems writing to or reading from them in my Sony HD/DVD recorder - they work very well. However, I've only used them in that one machine so there could be compatibility issues with other machines.
