It does not just plug and play August 12, 2008 jaybee (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
There must be more to these leads than meets the eye. I bought one from Maplin and the software would not work. They exchanged it , but it still would not work. I got my money back and bought this one. It does not work either. The supplier just said that they were not responsible for my existing hardware. I am sure that the lead could be made to work if suitable software and instructions were included. The product seems to be a very nice easy fix for products (still available) which do not have USB, and a modern laptop without RS232. It does not just plug and play. Buy from a shop where you can go back for help, unless you know how to make it work.
