Good, but a few flaws August 27, 2008 R. Osborne (Surrey, United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this headset after managing to break my previous logitech headset. First impressions were good, with much better sound quality and a solid build. After wearing it for an hour or so, it started to hurt abit as it was pressing hard on my head. This was quite annoying having to take it off every so often as its causing you pain. It seems to have loosened up slightly now, but it could still be better. I use this headset for gaming primarily and the sound was a significant improvement over the logitech headset i had previously. The microphone also works very well with ventrillo and was easy to set up. There is another small annoyance with this headset. One is that, if you plug it in after opening a programme (such as a game), it will not work unless you re-open the programme, or refresh the webpage. Several times, the sound has just randomly gone distorted and you have to unplug it and plug it back in to make it work properly again. This can be annoying if it happens mid-game as you will no longer have sound until you restart. This may be a one-off problem that i have been unlucky to get. Overall it is a decent headset despite the few small problems. Very good sound quality and microphone, and generally confortable except for the first few days. Maybe i have a big head? Sandberg USB Headset *Perfection* August 15, 2008 O. P. Pomeroy (Cheshire, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this review because my plantronics one couldnt survive the wheels on my chair. Anyway the sound quality is really good its alot better than my previous and took my by surprise how clear it is. The mic is good. Clear chat and it is very flexible to fit any person. The fit of the headset is good and it is confortable to use for long times. The headset is create plug in and play. The second you put it in its reconisied and no software is needed or drivers for it to work with, teamspeak or skype or anythin.Sandberg USB HeadSet
Terrible microphone August 8, 2008 Mr. G. Blades (UK) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
The headphones are excellent however the microphone suffers from a huge amount of hum. Its reduced when the sensitivity it set to medium but that just makes the microphone quieter anyway. I am sending it back since my old headset costing 5 times less has a much better microphone.
You can't go wrong with Sanberg July 18, 2008 A. Green (London, UK) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I've used many a headset in my time and every headset seems to be lacking in a certain department usually it's down to 3 things - Comfort, Sound Quality and recording quality of the microphone. Happily I can say Sanberg has full marks on all 3 of my usual complaints, as said in a review above they are very comfortable especially for long periods (of course we all have different comfort levels), the sound playback is crystal clear I am honestly impressed. The microphone is fantastic also which is a must for a gamer and frequent chat program user such as myself. It picks up my voice perfectly , no static background noise like other headsets. This gets a solid 5 from me. Though you might be unfamiliar with the brand you can not go wrong with this purchase trust me.
Sandberg USB Headset July 5, 2008 Floyd Williams (Cheshire, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I recieved this headset after being dissapointed with my previous headset, I was not however dissapointed with this one. The sound quality is one of the best I have ever come across in a headset ( it picks up sound from the T.V ! ) and it is well worth the money. The only downside to this item is that after wearing if for a really long period of time it gradually starts to crunch on your ears a bit. Definately worth the purchase I made on thi headset
